I forgot to tell you.

But that’s a lie.

I didn’t want to tell you 

Because, I didn’t want you to tell me not to.

I didn’t want to hear what I know, because I’d already heard it from myself.

And I was able to ignore myself. 

But I might not have been able to ignore you. 

And then of course when i did it. 

You would get even more insufferable in your disapproval.

So I decided not to say anything.

And yes, I know that's bullshit.

But there it is.
